We created a stunning outdoor space for this executive home called Hudson Polopark Farm, located at the polo fields in Ste-Marthe. The house required a grand landscaping design to complement the house’s stature and the wide open terraces along with the very large 4,000 foot swimming pool and gardens accomplish that. The night view is stunning; the space is so quiet and peaceful and is just as inviting at night as it is during the day. The mood is set for entertaining friends and families on a warm summer night, reminiscent of your favourite island resort.

The terraces and walkways have been created with multi-toned hand-cut stone in different sizes and shapes; the colours of the stone warm up the large space. Ledgerock, from northern Ontario, is laid in a Scotch pattern. The pool’s soft flowing lines, with its tanning ledges and beaches, and accompanying garden beds are pleasing to the eye and inviting, while the swim-up bar is just plain fun. The ten-person spa is surrounded by greenery and flowering plants, such as the purple impatiens and the variegated ivy, for a lovely view while being treated to a little renewal. Also, the warm browns of the spa tile tie in nicely with its natural setting. The property’s wrought iron fence wraps this outdoor space in elegance while keeping it open to, and with views of, the polo fields beyond.
